For this project, I designed and assembled a precision vice using Fusion 360. My main goal was to create a functional tool that excels in performance and durability.
I started by creating detailed 3D models of each component, paying close attention to dimensions and tolerances to ensure a perfect fit. The parametric design features in Fusion 360 allowed for easy adjustments throughout the process. I also conducted simulations to test the vice’s performance under various loads, refining the design for optimal reliability.
During the assembly, I focused on precise alignment and smooth operation of all components. The final product is not only visually appealing but also a highly functional precision vice that meets the exacting standards of its intended use.
