Background
This project was a collaborative effort to design a comprehensive architectural plan for a residential property. The team combined individual contributions into a cohesive design, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and structural integrity. The project involved multiple phases, including floor planning, foundation design, exterior visualization, and structural detailing.
Project Contributions
The team divided responsibilities to maximize efficiency and accuracy. My specific contributions included:
Floor Plan Design – Created a detailed and functional layout that optimized space utilization and flow.
Foundation Planning – Developed a sturdy foundation blueprint, ensuring structural stability and alignment with building codes.
Front View Rendering – Designed the external front-facing elevation, focusing on aesthetics and architectural symmetry.
Other team members handled additional elements, such as interior detailing, mechanical and electrical layouts, and 3D modeling. The final design was an integration of all contributions, resulting in a complete and well-structured project.
Challenges & Solutions
File Integration – Merging different CAD files required careful alignment and compatibility checks to maintain design integrity.
Design Consistency – Ensured a unified visual and functional approach by maintaining open communication and cross-referencing each phase.
Time Management – Coordinated effectively using deadlines and progress tracking to stay on schedule.
Outcome
The project successfully delivered a well-structured architectural plan that met both design and functional requirements. Through effective collaboration and individual expertise, the team produced a high-quality final submission that showcased the strengths of each contributor.
